Lighting - Ring Lights
Our Ring Lights offer shadowless illumination, intensity, power and 5x lifetime over fluorescents. Ring Lights are essential for lighting specular or diffused surfaces. Our Metabright Ring Lights are built with high density LEDs that create bright illumination of surfaces for a wide spectrum of Machine Vision inspection purposes.
VLT Ring Lights are specially designed to project an even 360 degree overlapping ring of light from camera to lens. In most Machine Vision front lighting applications our ring lights are a simple, low cost solutions to camera lighting.
All of the Ring Lights we offer for Machine Vision are just as robust and employ proprietary thermal management technology to dissipate internal die temperature externally. Some of our Ring Lights provide the ability to mount the Ring Light directly on the camera, because of three 1/4-20 tapped holes and our Ring Lights are compatible with most camera brackets for direct mounting.
RING LIGHTS (DIRECT LIGHTING)
These Ring Lights for Machine Vision are equipped with high-density LED arrays in a ring shape. Direct light is radiated with focus on the center of the workpiece from any angle.

LOW-ANGLE RING LIGHTS (DIRECT LIGHTING)
These Low-angle Ring Lights for Machine Vision provide light from a low angle to the center section. The edges of the workpiece and any engraving/damage on the metal surface can be highlighted clearly.

RING LIGHTS (INDIRECT LIGHTING)
These Ring Lights achieve uniform illumination through diffused light. They are ideal for Machine Vision applications where the entire workpiece must be illuminated evenly.

LOW-ANGLE RING LIGHTS (INDIRECT LIGHTING)
These Low-angle Ring Lights for Machine Vision allow the edges of the workpiece and engraving or damage on surfaces to be detected through low-angle diffused light.

Our near axis Ring Light provides extreme intensity lighting for working distance in Machine Vision. Our Ring Lights can be configured for wavelength and other specifications.

HALF CIRCLE OFF-AXIS RING LIGHTS
The off-axis Ring Light (darkfield) provides a near horizontal plane of light, useful for highlighting surface defects. The half circle is flexible to illuminate a fixed object at a desired angle and provides lighting from a low angle, ideal for Machine Vision.
OARL-SC2 Series.
2 RING OFF-AXIS RING LIGHTS
This MetaLight™ two ring off-axis Ring Light provides a near horizontal plane of light which is useful for highlighting surface defects, illuminating specular surfaces, and side lighting prominent target features. An additional one ring of LEDs at a larger incident angle allows flexibility in target illumination. Our Ring Lights can be configured for wavelength and other specifications.
